Offline mode: choose the right workflow

Keep working when signal drops, then synchronise later. Test which records can be opened or edited without a connection.

Keep a job moving when the signal drops

Offline support is task-specific. An app might display downloaded jobs but require a connection to edit a quote, take payment or open a document. The important question is which tasks you can complete at a property with poor reception.

What to test before choosing

Load a sample job, put your phone into airplane mode and try your normal workflow. Add a photo and edit a note, then reconnect. Check the office view for missing or duplicated changes. Repeat on the phones your team actually uses.
