Calculator information
Calculators run in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to our server, saved to an account or submitted to software suppliers. They are not stored by the calculator between visits.
Cookies and analytics
We store your cookie preferences in local storage on your device. Optional Google Analytics cookies measure visits only after you agree. You can accept, reject or change that choice using Cookie preferences at the bottom of the footer. Google Analytics stays off until consent and is disabled on local and preview builds. We do not enable advertising cookies, Google signals or advertising personalisation. Page addresses sent to analytics omit query strings and fragments. Calculator figures are not sent to analytics.
Website delivery
The website uses Cloudflare for delivery and protection. Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser request headers. Images are delivered through Sanity’s image CDN, which also receives technical request information to deliver those files. We do not load images directly from supplier websites.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond, investigate corrections or handle your request. We do not add you to a marketing list. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for the enquiry. We keep correspondence only for as long as needed for its purpose and any applicable record-keeping obligations.
Links to other websites
Supplier and reference links open external websites. Those providers control their own data collection, cookies and privacy policies. Following a normal supplier link does not send the calculator figures you entered.
Your rights and questions
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or object to or restrict its use. Email hello@boring.digital so we can assess your request. You can also contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you have a concern about the way we handle personal information.
